The Government has recently been defeated on it's right to hold the DNA Records of Innocent people that the Police have arrested in suspicion of crimes.

The records must now be deleted from file if no appeal is lodged by the UK Government.

Free DNA Tests are available, however it depends what type of DNA test your are looking for. Most of the tests that are free of charge are the Origin DNA Tests.

However the most common type of DNA Test is the Paternity test in which someone is trying to find out the correct parentage of an individual. There are many tests for this and many providers, some will send out test kits free of charge, we have a list online. These kits will be free of charge, as is the postage but the results will be charged. Usually this costs anything from £70 upwards depending on the speed and reputation of the accuracy of the company sending the results.

One good point about order a free dna test kit is that if you change your mind anytime after you made the order, it won't cost you a penny.
